The festival of Maletto Strawberry is an event that has been held for years, attracting visitors from all over the island. The town of Maletto is famous for its strawberries.

The area around Maletto is perfect for the strawberries because in it are several sources of water, rich in minerals. The fruit that grows in this lands is so red, fleshy, fragrant and sweet, and have a really unique flavor. The first strawberry fields were planted in the territory of Maletto in the second half of the last century.

The Festival of Strawberry 2019 will involve the main square of the country, entertain guests with tasting, music, comedy show and guided tours to the historical sites of the city.  This year the Strawberry Festival in Maletto will take place from 28 to 30 June and 6, 7, 13 and 14 July.
