The Ottobrata Zafferanese is one of the most famous autumn festivals in Sicily. Zafferana Etnea (position) is a small village on the slopes of Mount Etna and since 1978 a yearly festival is held there in October. Zafferana is famous for its honey production but the area offers also good wine, mushrooms, chestnuts, and other autumn delights.

Every Sunday of October the festival has a different theme and it’s always crowded with people.
